Garuda, the legendary bird is the mount or vahana of the preserver god lord Vishnu. Garuda is the son of Vinata and Kashyapa. Garuda is the embodiment of strength and power and is generally represented as a giant man with golden body of human and red feathers and beak of birds like Vulture or eagle. He is the symbol of life and heaven and the biggest enemy of snake, who are the symbol of death. Garuda is generally referred as “Khageswara”, the king of the birds.
