Lord Shri Krishna born as an incarnation of lord Vishnu was famous for his mischievous attitude. He used to tease the cow girls on their way to sell butter, used to steal butter from others houses, his enchanting tune from flute was enough to hypnotise all. His one of the famous mischief was the ‘vastraharan’ which meant stealing of clothes. Lord Krishna in order to punish the complaining cowgirls stole their clothes while bathing in Yamuna river.He finally returned them their clothes, after several pledges from the cowgirls.
